Margo's Bible Verses September 15th
On this date, September 15th, Margo was reading in the gospel of John 14:15--31 titled "The Promise of the Holy Spirit" and in Titus 2:1--10 titled "Community Life Within the Church".
Here are the underlined verses in John:
Jesus speaking: "16: And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor to be with you forever -- 17: the Spirit of truth...18: I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you...26: But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Margo's Bible Verses September 5th
On this date, September 5th, Margo was reading in the gospel of John 11:1--29 titled "The Death of Lazarus" and in II Timothy 2:8--14 titled "Suffering for Christ".
Margo didn't underline any verses in the gospel of John but she underlined one short sentence in the commentary. But this short sentence is very powerful. Try to remember what Margo was going through this time last year. Here's the sentence she underlined:
